Rural communities where you must walk for more than one day or take a boat for hours are the ones that most need this help.

Turtles are a valuable indicator to measure the health of the oceans. Preserving this species is key to the balance of the marine ecosystem.
What does it consist of?
Helps us conserve more than 35,000 turtles who arrived at the beaches to lay their eggs. These ancestral creatures are an important part of the culture and ecosystem of the planet. Unfortunately, there are many threats, such as predators, pollution and looting that prevent the birth of baby turtles. It is estimated that 1 in every 1,000 babies turtles born comeback to lay their eggs. We need your help to protect them!

Tourism is one of the main driving forces of worldwide development and Isla Cañas isn´t the exception.
What does it consist of?
Glamping is an activity facilitated by people from the community and Power Pal Pueblo team, which aims to boost the economy of Isla Cañas through a proposal of meaningful tourism that allows our guests to reconnect with themselves with nature, with others and a higher power, according to one’s beliefs. Glamping aligns sustainable construction and the optimal use of natural resources to minimize the impact on the ecosystem in which it is located.

Improving how the residents of Isla Cañas see their homes and awakening a sense of belonging will allow us to have a greater community engagement with the other programs.
What does it consists of?
We need you to improve the quality of life of rural communities and fill their homes with color. Our volunteers, along with the families of the communities, will paint the houses. Most houses are partially unfinished, which requires pre-painting conditioning; This is included in your sponsorship.

Most rural communities do not have waste collection, classification and treatment practices, which threatens their ecosystem and their health.
What does it consist of?
Education has the biggest challenge in this practice. Garbage collection days will be held while different recycling bins will be available to classify the materials. Communitary composting will be provided for people to make better use of their organic waste.

It is vitally important to support communities to improve their sources of income, with agriculture being the most profitable for them.
To promote the agricultural industry in rural communities, we are promoting the entrepreneurship of families with free-range poultry farms, apiaries and organic gardens. With your help we will provide the infrastructure, methodology and marketing support, ensuring a sustainable business.
